The Pontiac Chamber offers a wide variety of events and program to meet the needs of its membership. These programs range from networking and education opportunities to fundraisers to annual recognition programs.

Golf Outing

The annual golf outing is always held the third Wednesday of June. This year’s golf event will be Wednesday, June 15, 2016 with a 10 am shotgun start. It will be at the Pontiac Elks Lodge, 459 Elks Club Road.

Issues & Eggs

Held throughout the year, this breakfast forum focuses on issues that are important to our local community. The event is held at rotating Chamber members such as Pontiac Family Kitchen, Edinger’s Filling Station, Old Log Cabin and Baby Bull’s.

ATHENA Awards Luncheon

The Pontiac Chamber annually honors a local professional who personifies the highest level of professional excellence, devotes time and energy to the community, and, most especially, has generously assisted women in attaining their full potential.

This award has been presented to an outstanding professional from the Pontiac area for more than 25 years.

Threshermen’s Parade

The Threshermen’s Parade is a long standing Chamber tradition. More than 10,000 people line the streets of Pontiac to watch the parade. It is always the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. This year’s event will be on Sunday, September 4, 2016.

Mix & Mingle @ Business After Hours

Business After Hours is a networking event hosted by Chamber members. The event rotates among Member businesses and provides a relaxed, casual atmosphere. This free event is an excellent opportunity to finish the business day in the company of fellow Members and grow your circle of contacts. Drop by to unwind and connect with your local business community.

Annual Awards Banquet

This annual award dinner is always held in early March. It is a celebration of the Chamber’s successes and a look towards the future. It is also a chance to honor top students from the area schools including Pontiac, Odell, Graymont and Saunemin. Other recognition includes the Kiwanis Club Educator of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Bill Edwards Agri-Business Person of the Year and Business Person of the Year.
