Celebrate Small Businesses April 30 – May 6

NSBW_Banner_2Every year since 1963, the President of the United States has issued a proclamation announcing National Small Business Week, which recognizes the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners.

More than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and they create about two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year.

As part of National Small Business Week, the Pontiac Area Chamber of Commerce celebrates the more than 100 small businesses that are partners with the Chamber. From Morgan Laundromats in Streator to Bennett Electronic Service here in Pontiac, from Joan Bullard Realty in Odell to The Business Connection in Fairbury, from Livingston County Chiropractic in Pontiac to Union Roofing in Chenoa, the Chamber partners with many small businesses in the county.
