Paul Sutter and Marlon Eilts have been chosen as winners for this year’s Chamber Awards. Sutter is being honored with the Bill Edwards Agri-Business Person of the Year Award. And Eilts is being honored with the Business Person of the Year Award.
Sutter began working at Fairbury Edwards Soil Service while in high school. He has been a dedicated employee of the farming and chemical fertilizer business for nearly 50 years. He has contributed and helped many family farmers over the years, making changes to improve the farming industry. Sutter has always been a conscious person when it comes to supporting local functions as they arise.
Eilts is a representative at Country Companies that truly care about the welfare of his customers and strives to make our community a better place. He has been on many boards that help the community, especially involving children. When looking for a volunteer you can always count on Marlon to be the first hand up and know he will see it through to the end giving 110% and that the way he does business with his customers and why he is the Pontiac Chamber of Commerce Business person of the year.
They will be honored at this year’s Annual Banquet on Thursday, March 9 at the Pontiac Elks Club.
